Concerto LTE A app for iPhone and iPad

This App shows how cooperative communications technique works in the LTE-Advanced uplink. The performance of the simulator is shown at the bottom of the map, where metrics SNR and BER are shown when the simulator is turned on. The instantaneous distances between the user node (U) and the relay node (R) as well as with the base station (B) are also displayed at the bottom. The original and received pictures can also be displayed by tapping the letter ‘D’ at the top right corner.

SC-FDMA and LDPC codes are employed. Both direct transmission and relaying are considered. This simulator is especially useful for research students working on wireless communication technologies. By taping the info button at the top left corner, users can modify the simulation parameters including modulation scheme, node speed, channel model and the number of users. The transmit SNR and Path Loss per km can also be edited.
